FAQ
WHEN ARE “NEWBORN” PHOTOS CAPTURED?
The ideal time to photograph your newborn is between 7–21 days old. During this window, babies are usually still nice and sleepy, settle easily, enjoy being swaddled, and can be gently posed with comfort.
That said, sometimes life happens and sessions fall outside this timeframe — and that’s completely okay. We can absolutely still create beautiful images; they just may feel a little less super squishy newborn and more relaxed and lifestyle focused.
WHAT IF BABY IS UNSETTLED?
This is totally normal — and part of the process! I always follow baby’s lead and allow extra time during our session for feeding, cuddles, and settling. There is no rush here — your baby sets the pace, always.
WHAT LOCATIONS CAN WE USE?
I adore in-home newborn sessions. There’s something so special about capturing your family in the comfort of your own space — it feels natural, personal, and timeless.
If being at home isn’t your vibe, outdoor sessions are just as beautiful. Whether it’s the beach or a dreamy open field, I love tailoring each session to reflect your family’s style.
CAN THE WHOLE FAMILY BE INCLUDED?
A big YES. Newborn sessions are about your family, and that includes siblings — and fur babies too. While I always capture some beautiful images of baby on their own, the heart of these sessions is connection, love, and your story together.
CAN ANY SESSION BE USED IN ANY PACKAGE?
Absolutely ! Any package can be used for Family, maternity, couples.
The only one that is its own session n package is the Newborn story.
